    EDF Energy Networks’ preference, when MOPs or DCs discover defects with service termination equipment, is that emergency jobs are phoned through but non-emergency work is submitted to us using our E88 form.

    However some suppliers and meter operators will not use the form.

    EDF Energy Networks would like to understand how defects are reported to other distributors to determine whether the use of our form would be an improvement or should be abandoned, in an effort towards harmonisation of process.
