Synopsis
DCUSA clause 20.3 and 21.2 state that the Company will provide the User with an account specifying Use of System charges “as soon as is reasonably practicable after the end of each charging period”.
This provides no consistency across DNOs and restricts Suppliers from being able to forecast when they will receive such invoices. When a Supplier’s Credit Cover is calculated the DNO will use a figure for projected charges in their calculation. Where a Supplier does not know when a bill be generated they will be unable to determine how it will affect the projection, and ultimately, the credit calculation.
